Dasdey Behavioural Services Inc. ("Dasdey," "we," "us") is an Ontario corporation providing behavioural support services across the Greater Toronto Area. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and personal health information collected through our website, intake processes, and service delivery, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA).

  • Intake information: details about the individual seeking support, including age, funding source, goals, and care preferences

  • Associate application information: qualifications, credentials, references, and business registration details
  • Website usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and similar technical information collected through server logs and analytics

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested information
  • Coordinate service intake and match engagements with qualified associates
  • Communicate about services, scheduling, invoices, and follow-up
  • Verify associate qualifications and maintain network records
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and funder reporting requirements
  • Improve our website, service quality, and operations

4. Consent

We collect and use your information with your consent, which may be expressed (for example, through a signed intake form) or implied from your interactions with us (for example, submitting a contact form). Despite these safeguards, no method of electronic storage or transmission is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. When We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • With the independent associate engaged to provide services, to the extent necessary to deliver care
  • With funders, payers, or insurers when required for reimbursement or eligibility verification (with your authorization)
  • With third-party service providers who support our operations (such as secure email, scheduling, or invoicing tools), under confidentiality obligations
  • When required by law, court order, regulatory authority, or in response to a lawful request
  • To protect the safety of individuals or the public, where permitted or required by law

7. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and PHIPA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information or PHI we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Withdraw consent to further collection, use, or disclosure (subject to legal and contractual restrictions)
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario if you believe your privacy rights have been violated

8. Retention

We retain personal information and PHI for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, regulatory, and professional retention requirements. When information is no longer needed, we securely destroy or anonymize it.
