Group Home & Residential Support Staffing

Reliable subcontracted associate capacity for community living agencies, group home operators, foster care providers, and residential programs across Ontario.

Service Overview

What This Service Provides

Group homes and residential programs across Ontario are operating under real staffing pressure. When a placement requires more behavioural skill than the standard line staff can offer, when a resident is transitioning into or out of a complex placement, or when an agency simply needs reliable subcontractor capacity to cover a shortage, Dasdey coordinates credentialed associates ready to step in.

Every Dasdey associate placed in a residential setting holds the credentials and experience the placement requires, post-secondary CYW, DSW, BSW, or BA Psychology background; 2+ years of direct experience with complex behavioural populations; current Ministry-approved crisis intervention training; First Aid and CPR; and a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening. Dasdey carries full agency insurance, every associate carries personal liability coverage, and our coordination team handles the operational side so your team doesn't have to.

Dasdey partners with community living agencies, Children's Aid Societies, foster care providers, group home operators, and transitional and residential programs across the GTA, York Region, Peel Region, Durham Region, Halton Region, and Simcoe County.

Simple Process

How It Works

1

Discovery Call

We discuss the placement, the resident's profile, the credentials and skills required, schedule, and contract structure.

2

Associate Match

We propose an associate (or roster) who meets the requirements and have them ready for orientation to your facility.

3

Onboarding & Coverage

Associate completes your agency's orientation and begins coverage. Our coordination team stays available as a partner, not just a vendor.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How does subcontract billing work?
We invoice the agency directly on a weekly or biweekly cycle at a negotiated hourly rate. Rates depend on complexity (1:1 vs 2:1), shift type (day, evening, overnight, weekend), notice (planned vs emergency), and term length. We can offer reduced rates for long-term placements.
Do you sign agency-specific paperwork (NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs)?
Yes. We routinely sign vendor agreements, master service agreements, NDAs, and confidentiality contracts with agency partners. Our coordination team can typically turn around standard agreements within a few business days.
What credentials do your residential associates carry?
All associates placed in residential settings hold a relevant post-secondary credential (CYW, DSW, BSW, BA Psych, BST), 2+ years of direct experience with complex needs, current Ministry-approved crisis intervention training (CPI, NVCI, UMAB, or SMG), First Aid and CPR Level C, and a Vulnerable Sector Screening renewed annually.
Can you cover an emergency callout tonight?
We do our best. Same-day and overnight callouts depend on associate availability in the geographic area. Long-standing agency partners get priority. We will tell you straight whether we can cover the shift, we do not over-promise.
Do you do long-term, recurring placements?
Yes. Many of our agency partnerships are long-term: same associate, same residence, same shifts, week after week. This is the model that works best for residents and for agency continuity.
Are your associates trained in your specific agency's protocols?
We complete your agency's orientation and any agency-specific training (medication administration, restraint, documentation systems) before the associate begins shifts. We invest in onboarding because the result is a stable long-term placement.
What if a placement isn't working?
We replace the associate or end the placement at your call. We would rather end a poor match early than damage the relationship or the resident's stability.
